Dr. Himali Jayakody is a board-certified pediatric neurologist, pediatric epileptologist, and neurophysiologist. She completed her pediatric neurology training at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and her fellowship in Epilepsy and Neurophysiology at the University of South Florida. She has extensive experience in treating complex epilepsy patients, including pre-surgical evaluations, advanced EEG monitoring, and neurostimulation. Additionally, she is trained in electrodiagnostic studies and the management of neuromuscular diseases.
Dr Jayakody is a part time faculty and works on the in patient pediatric neurology team for Tampa General Hospital as an Assistant Professor in Neurology, in the Department of Neurology as well as the Department of Pediatrics at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
Taylor Buzzard is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of dedicated experience in pediatrics. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Pediatric Primary Care from West Virginia University. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).
